New gospel sensation Michael Dennis is out with His latest song, “Above Principalities”, a spirit -filled song which tells how great and powerful Jesus is and that in the name, power, and might of Jesus, we move and we reign.
This song makes us to understand how we are far above principalities and far above the heavens by the glory, from the glory and to the glory of the Lord. The song is a declaration of how triumphant and victorious we are as believers.

Michael Dennis Mensah, born in December 7, 1987 and popularly known as Mike Dennis, started singing at the age of eight , then in class three and mainly began his music ministry in 2005.
Mike Dennis has five songs to his credit, with his first song released in 2016 which was featured on “Menya Nkwagye” from worship unlimited.
He is a music director and has helped a lot of Individuals and churches in Ghana. He is a vocal coach and a married man as well.
According to him, his music ministry is aimed at lifting the name of Jesus high by attracting more souls into the kingdom.

2026 Israeli Film Festival slated for Silverbird Cinema tomorrow
The Embassy of Israel in Ghana will hold the 2026 Israeli Film Festival tomorrow at the Silverbird Cinema at the Accra Mall.
The one-day event will feature both Israeli and Ghanaian films. According to organisers the festival aims to promote cultural exchange and strengthen ties between the people of Ghana and Israel through cinema.
Admission is free. Film lovers can attend screenings at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The programme includes the Israeli films The Milky Way and Matchmaking. It will also feature the Ghanaian films Smokes and Mirrors and Unfinished Ride.
Visitors will enjoy free popcorn and also have the chance to take part in a raffle.
The Culture Attaché at the Embassy of Israel in Ghana, Mrs Nitza Gilad, said the festival offers people the opportunity to learn about different cultures through film.
“We are very excited to welcome the Ghanaian public once again to the Israeli Film Festival. Film gives us an opportunity to enter one another’s worlds, experience different stories and discover the things we share despite our different backgrounds,” she said.
Mrs Gilad added that she was pleased to see Israeli and Ghanaian films being shown on the same platform. She invited students, filmmakers, families, young people and all lovers of cinema to attend the festival and enjoy the experience.
According to the organisers, last year’s festival was successful and helped provide a platform for emerging Ghanaian filmmakers while promoting cultural exchange.
This year’s event is expected to bring together audiences from different backgrounds for a day of storytelling, learning and entertainment.

Medikal urges Ghanaian musicians to prioritise financial security

Ghanaian rapper Medikal has advised musicians to focus on building financial security rather than relying mainly on awards, shows and public recognition.
According to him, the difficult situations some senior musicians face after years in the industry should serve as a lesson to younger artistes.
Medikal made the comments on TikTok while sharing his thoughts on an interview involving veteran Ghanaian musician DJ Barosky, whom he claimed is currently homeless in the United Kingdom.
He expressed surprise at the situation, noting that he grew up listening to and admiring some of the senior musicians who influenced his generation.
“Bro, right now, social media, I know if you tell which one be real or what be fake,” Medikal stated, questioning the reality of what people see online.
He argued that musicians should make money and put proper financial plans in place while they are active in the industry.
“If you be artist for this country, you for make money, collect money, put certain things in place,” he said.
Medikal stressed that awards and performances were important but should not replace financial planning.
He encouraged artistes to be careful with their relationships and to understand that the entertainment industry is largely driven by money.
According to him, even friendships can change when a person’s financial circumstances change.
He therefore urged musicians not to become discouraged by financial losses but to remain focused on creating wealth.
“Make money. If you lose money, still collect money,” he advised.
Medikal said the experiences of older artistes should encourage current musicians to take their finances seriously and prepare for life beyond their peak years in the entertainment industry.
