 Ghana Party in the Park has long been an exciting family fun day that celebrates the richness of Ghanaian culture, bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together every sum­mer in the United Kingdom.

Held on Saturday, July 12, at Barnet Playing Fields in London, this year’s event delivered an unforgettable experience full of culture, music, and unity.

Before the main stage lights up, it takes the dedication of hardworking individuals behind the scenes to make the magic happen.

One such force is Albert Nii Amartey Armah, the Artiste Co­ordinator for Ghana Party in the Park, whose strategic coordina­tion helps shape the entire live experience.

Speaking to The Spectator Agoro, Albert Nii Armah said the pre-and post-event previews as well as feedback received points to the fact that the revelers had a wonderful experience.

For the 20th edition of Ghana Party in the Park, Albert Armah teamed up with Dennis Tawiah, Chief Executive Officer of Akwaaba UK, to cu­rate an electrifying lineup of artistes.

The show was headlined by Kweku Smoke, while King Promise took on the role of Creative Di­rector, infusing the event with fresh energy and vision.

The star-studded roster also includ­ed: Joint 77, Sister Derby, DopeNation, Krymi, Beeztrap KOTM, Moliy, Gya­kie (as a surprise act), Flowking Stone, and the ever-dynamic DWP Academy.

High-profile Ghanaian personalities spotted in the crowd included Appi­etus, Victoria Michaels, Adwoa Saah, Delay, Giovanni Caleb of Media Gener­al, Master Richard of Dada Boat fame, Alordia Promotions, Stanley Kodia, and Leicester City’s Issa­haku Fatawu.

There was no discussion of any GH¢55 million – Dennis Miracles Aboagye denies EOCO statement

New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications officer, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has dismissed reports linking him to an alleged GH¢55 million case, insisting that no such issue was raised during his detention by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

In a Facebook post after his release from EOCO custody, Mr Aboagye stated that at no point during his detention was he questioned about any GH¢55 million.

“For the records: There was no discussion of any GH¢55 million with me by EOCO. None,” he wrote.

According to him, he was detained for four days, a day after announcing his intention to contest for the position of National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party.

Mr Aboagye alleged that false narratives were circulated about his arrest but expressed confidence that the truth would eventually prevail.

He thanked NPP supporters who demonstrated and called for his release, saying news of the protests reached him while he was in detention and encouraged him.

Mr Aboagye indicated that the support shown by party faithful strengthened his resolve and reaffirmed his commitment to serve the NPP.

He maintained that his detention had not discouraged him from pursuing his political ambition.

“If the intention was to break me, it has failed. If the intention was to scare me, it has failed spectacularly,” he stated.

Mr Aboagye expressed appreciation to his legal team, the leadership of the NPP and all supporters who stood by him throughout his detention.

He reiterated his determination to lead the party’s Communications Directorate, declaring that he remained “ready to win” and committed to what he described as the party’s mission to “command the narrative.”

Cabinet directs revocation of E.I. 144 to restore Achimota Forest Reserve status

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has announced that Cabinet has directed the immediate revocation of Executive Instrument (E.I.) 144, as amended by E.I. 234, to restore the original status of the Achimota Forest as a Forest Reserve.

According to the minister, the decision will ensure that the Achimota Forest continues to serve as an ecological safety zone for Accra and surrounding communities.

The minister disclosed the decision as part of the government’s accountability efforts, stating that the revocation is aimed at protecting the forest from activities that could threaten its environmental importance.

He explained that restoring the forest’s original legal status reinforces the government’s commitment to preserving one of the country’s key green spaces.

The Achimota Forest plays an important role in improving air quality, conserving biodiversity and helping to regulate the climate in the Greater Accra Region.

The government believes the move will strengthen environmental protection and safeguard the forest for future generations.
