Actor and television personality, Akwasi Boadi, known as Akrobeto, morning show host, Abena Kyei Boakye, and creative artist, Papa Yaw Atamle, has been unveiled as brand ambassadors of Kantanka Herbal Pharmaceuticals and Research Centre.
The media personalities would be the face of the recently introduced herbal supplement aimed at supporting the wellbeing of Ghanaians.
Akrobeto endorsed the centre as well as the product, saying it would serve the health needs of people, especially those in the creative industry.
“Our tight work schedules in an attempt to entertain Ghanaians come with a lot of health issues and such supplement from a well-known company would go a long way,” he stated.
The development of this herbal supplement, he said, involved a rigorous process led by top medical professionals at Kantanka Herbal Pharmaceuticals, under the leadership of Dr Ohene Kwabena Safo, with approval and support from Emeritus Professor Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, hence the need to come on board and support its promotion.
“For stress related issues, which come with entertainment and showbiz as well as television production, we have a companion in this supplement,” Abena Boakye said.
In addition, she said aside its health benefits, the new supplement also promises to create substantial economic opportunities by fostering a robust value chain. It is set to generate diverse employment prospects across the African continent, particularly benefitting the youth in Ghana.

Osanju is dead

Popular Ghanaian content creator, Elvis Frimpong, known in showbiz circles as Osanju has been reported dead.
According to sources, he was said to have died in the early hours on Monday, September 1, 2025 after a long battle with blood cancer (Leukemia)
His death has been a shock in the Ghanaian community especially coming shortly after his last post.
His demise comes five months after he had laid his mother, Amounu, also a tiktoker, to rest, having lost her in January.
Hours before his passing, he had posted a video on Sunday with friends watching the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match, prompting many fans to initially dismiss the reports as a hoax.
Osanju’s death has been described as a huge loss by followers who admired his openness, resilience and positive outlook in the face of ill health.
However, Osanju had previously shared his battle with leukemia, a cancer of the blood, on his TikTok account, even eerily predicting his own demise on a couple of occasions.
