ASSOCIATE Pastor of Kingspride Word International Church, Rev. Francis Doe, has urged Christians to hold on to hope and faith through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Preaching from 1 Corinthians 15, during the climax of a three-day Easter camp in Accra on Sunday, Rev. Doe described the resurrection as the foundation of the Christian faith and a source of enduring hope for humanity.

“The resurrection is not just a story. It assures us that no matter how dark life may seem, there is victory beyond suffering, and life beyond death,” he told congregants.

He emphasised that Christ’s death and resurrection were not only historical events but transformative truths that continue to impact lives today. He said; just as Jesus rose from the dead, believers were promised new life both spiritually and eternally.

Rev. Doe encouraged worshippers to remain steadfast in faith despite life’s challenges.

“If Christ has conquered death, then there is nothing we face that is beyond God’s power,” he said.

He also highlighted transformation, explaining that believers will one day exchange their mortal bodies for glorified, immortal ones. He likened this to a seed growing into something far greater, reminding attendees that current struggles were temporary.

Addressing death, he reassured the congregation that it no longer holds ultimate power.

“Death has been defeated. Through Christ, we have victory, and that victory gives us hope not just for today, but for eternity.”

The sermon concluded with a call for purposeful living, grounded in faith and service. Rev. Doe reminded worshippers that their efforts in serving God and humanity were never in vain.

In a related event, Rev. Dr. Sam Ayi Ankrah, founder and General Overseer of Kingspride Word Chapel International, during the ordination of Pastor Nii Quaye Ashie of the Klo Agogo branch, urged Christians to walk in Christ’s footsteps and lead others to salvation.

“Live holy, love others, and guide humanity toward God,” highlighting that as the core mission of Kingpride Word International Church.

You don’t treat party people anyhow – aggrieved NPP stalwart cautions

A prominent member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has broken silence on the deep-seated internal machinations within the party, warning that the continuous victimization of members could severely jeopardize unity ahead of the general elections.

In a post on the party’s internal democratic processes, the former National Entrpreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) boss, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah revealed how personal ambitions were stifled by party elites in the Asante Akyem Central constituency, despite overwhelming grassroots support.

According to the aggrieved party member, the decision to run for the parliamentary seat was not a self-serving agenda but a direct response to a call to service by the local constituents.

“My Asante Akyem Central people loved my politics and approached me to come and serve them as MP,” he stated.

He added that “But my own party elders blocked me and supported the incumbent MP to cheat through the system as if I was an outsider.”

The unfair playing field he revealed led to a massive financial distress. The stalwart disclosed incurring massive debts across two consecutive primary election cycles, alongside other personal challenges.

Despite the systemic sabotage, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah noted that he remained loyal, continuously defending both the NPP party and the government’s policies at all levels.

“Seeing what’s going on in the current polling station elections in several constituencies, it seems not much has changed,” he warned.

“The victimization of those who want to challenge current or former MPs should stop,” he stated.

With the general elections approaching, he cautioned,”You don’t treat party people anyhow and expect unconditional unity for the general elections.”
