Promiseland Festival: Stonebwoy makes triumphant return to Australia after 7 years
After nearly one month of his hugely successful “5th Dimension” 2023 USA and Canada tour, international reggae, dancehall, & afrobeats composer and performer Stonebwoy is back on the road for his all-new “5th Dimension” Australia, UK, and Europe Tour.
On Friday, September 29, the Ghanaian-born entertainer brought his sold-out “5th Dimension” world tour to Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast, marking the first of three shows scheduled to take place in Australia this Autumn.
Stonebwoy performed before a crowd of over 20,000 fans at the 2023 Promiseland Festival, making a triumphant return to touring in Australia since the 2016 “Go High Tour”.
The BET award-winner’s performance was a carefully curated journey through his illustrious career, seamlessly transitioning from soulful tunes to hard-hitting anthems. He delivered a performance with a setlist that spanned his entire solo catalog.
However, he performed nearly every song from the new “5th Dimension” album, including the hit singles “Into the Future”, “Activate”, “My Sound”, “Life and Money”, “Therapy”, “Manodzi,” featuring 5x Grammy Award-winning singer Angelique Kidjo, and “Non Stop.”
Stonebwoy’s headlining “5th Dimension” Australia tour continued on Sunday, October 1, in Perth at the Metro City, which was already sold out.
He is expected to grace some iconic venues in Europe and the UK over the course of October.
The “5th Dimension” world tour also includes an extensive run of Europe and UK dates: Stonebwoy will perform in Brescia, Italy, on October 14th, Amsterdam, Netherlands, on October 15th, and a trio of performances in Berlin, Hamburg, and Dusseldorf, Germany, on October 19th, 20th, and 21st, respectively. It continues in the UK on October 26th in Manchester and Birmingham on October 27th, with a concluding date set for October 29th at London’s Electric Brixton.
The “5th Dimension” world tour supports Stonebwoy’s 2023 album of the same name.
Widely hailed as a career-best, the album was acclaimed for its pivot to African and Caribbean styles such as afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, amapiano, folk, and other styles while leaning primarily toward pop-related themes. The album, which showcases the artist’s evolution and growth, pushing boundaries and delving into uncharted musical territories, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard World Reggae Album Charts.
Ghanaian gospel dynamo, Piesie Esther, has expressed her readiness to take home the Gospel Artiste of the Year, Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year and Traditional Gospel Song of the Year awards at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The musician with many years of success under her belt in the gospel music industry has been nominated for three categories at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Piesie Esther was nominated for Gospel Artiste of the Year, Traditional Gospel Song of the Year, and Most Popular Song of the Year with her smash hit, Nyame Ye.
The award-winning musician believes that she had a wonderful year in 2025, which deserves recognition.
According to her, with over 36 shows, millions of streams enjoyed by her Nyame Ye song, coupled with numerous brand engagements, she was in a pole position to outwit other competitors.
“Family, I need your love and support now more than ever! I’ve been nominated at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards and we’re going all out for the win! ,” she noted.
She called on all and sundry that “Every single vote counts, and I truly appreciate your continuous support. Let’s do this together.”
This year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards is slated for May 9, 2026 at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra.

The Ghanaian music icon, Okyeame Kwame, turned 50 years last Friday, April 17, 2026.
Against this backdrop, the ‘Rap Dacta’ organised an All-White Party on Saturday to mark his 50th birthday to raise funds for the construction of a Paediatric Emergency Ward at the Manhyia Hospital.
This is a legacy project the musician is embarking on to mark his 50th birthday.
As part of the concert, patrons were treated to scintillating live performances by Afriyie Wutah, Akwaboah, Sista Afia, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Kwabena Kwabena, Ras Kuuku, Abiana, Adina, Abochi, Kweku Darlington, and Kunta Kinte of Bradez fame.
One of the country’s finest DJs, Andy Dosty, also had his turn to mesmerise the patrons with hits from the past to present, a moment which saw many patrons on their feet for most of the time.
Okyeame Kwame rocked the gathering with numerous hits from his repertoire, including his new song dubbed ‘Clap.’
He also expressed appreciation to those who has genuinely supported his career to impact the lives of others.
