‘Pure Persona by Nana’, new beauty, wellness and lifestyle brand launched

A new beauty, wellness and lifestyle brand, dubbed, ‘Pure Persona by Nana’, was launched virtually on June 1.
The launch was led by Nana Konamah, founder of Pure Persona by Nana, who was joined by media personality Anita Erskine and youth and children’s advocate Eugenia Tachie-Menson, to unveil the new “Discovery Kit”.
With the brand statement of ‘Seek Your Inner Beauty,’ the Pure Persona by Nana thrives on beauty, confidence and dedication to one’s self. It is inspired by the Akan Adinkra symbol ‘Sankofa’, an adage that encourages the importance of reverting to the past in order to reframe the future.
The brand celebrates the ancient secrets of Africa passed down from generation to generation, and uses pure natural ingredients that empower the mind, body and enriches the soul for joyful living.
“I am excited about finally launching Pure Persona by Nana, a lifestyle brand that embodies all the things that I stand for: self-love and holistic self-care , starting with the hair care product five years after it was first conceptualised,” Konamah stated.
Nana Amoako-Anin of Bliss Yoga Accra, spoke about the importance of self-care and self-love during the Seek Your Inner Beauty conversations as part of the activities to mark the launch.
The launch saw the official introduction of ‘The Discovery Kit’ – power packed with cleansing shampoo, caring conditioner and everyday nourisher sourced from natural ingredients, pure persona guarantees to help your hair grow effortlessly while keeping it moisturised and chemical-free.
Infused with shea butter, honey and innovation from black soap, the sulfate-free cleansing shampoo is formulated into a rich recipe that moisturizes the hair and gently lifts off dirt and build-up from the scalp and strands without stripping the crown of natural oils.
An incredible performance by Soul Singer Ria Boss, and the announcement of the winner of the giveaway wrapped up the successful launch of ‘Pure Persona by Nana’.

Osanju is dead

Popular Ghanaian content creator, Elvis Frimpong, known in showbiz circles as Osanju has been reported dead.
According to sources, he was said to have died in the early hours on Monday, September 1, 2025 after a long battle with blood cancer (Leukemia)
His death has been a shock in the Ghanaian community especially coming shortly after his last post.
His demise comes five months after he had laid his mother, Amounu, also a tiktoker, to rest, having lost her in January.
Hours before his passing, he had posted a video on Sunday with friends watching the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match, prompting many fans to initially dismiss the reports as a hoax.
Osanju’s death has been described as a huge loss by followers who admired his openness, resilience and positive outlook in the face of ill health.
However, Osanju had previously shared his battle with leukemia, a cancer of the blood, on his TikTok account, even eerily predicting his own demise on a couple of occasions.
