I know you want to see me fail badly but… MzGee replies critics

Host of United Showbiz programme on UTV, Gloria Apkpene Nyarku-Acquah, affectionately called MzGee has replied to critics of her style.
In a post on Facebook, MzGee who replaced, actress Nana Ama McBrown on the show said no one can push her to be an imitation of anyone.
Since she took over the show, following the exit of Nana Ama McBrown, MzGee has come under criticism on social media, as some are praising her for her line of questioning, while others say she has not fitted into the shoes of the former host.
According to MzGee, “I’d rather fail in originality than become a clone of another! I didn’t get here as a carbon copy of anyone yet I made a name as one of the most revered in the space!.”
She went on to ask, “So after all these feat, why do you think I want to or I’d prefer to become an imitation?.”
In a pidgin language MzGee told critics that “Ebi the work wey I know, ebi the work I go do, forget the razzmatazz, it’s not my style to indulge in frivolities.”
This notwithstanding, the television personality who has had some stints with Multimedia, Media General, 3music and now Despite Media posited that “Yes, I’ll learn to better at every challenge (I know you want to see me fail badly but you forget it is God that ordains Kings).”
Finally, she noted that “I’ll do me as always, at my own pace and in my unique style.
I’m sorry if that offends you!.”
