Pretty Annie
Ghanaian movie lovers are set to be thrilled on October 5 when Ekab Movies Production releases what is expected to be a blockbuster movie with a storyline full of intrigues and lessons about life to learn.
The movie starred Pretty Annie (Annie), Mariama Tetteh (Nana Ama), Prophet Boanerge Mireku (Mr Osei), Alice Ghansah (Lucy), Rose Asiedua (Queenzy), Maxwell Buabeng (Skylord), Georgina Leobo (Reggie), John Mensah (John), Williams Appiah (Jerry), Nana Ama Yeblack (Lina) and Kofi Mensah (Mensah)
With this cast of emerging talents working so hard to take the industry by storm, the audience will be wowed by their ability to act their lines to create a real life experience.
Titled ‘The Law of Karma’, the movie, as directed by Mr Emmanuel Atuahene-Bempong (Osor) presents a theme based on a true life story of how two friends – Annie and Nana Ama, grew together in the same neigbourhood with Annie and her parents later travelling outside the country to seek greener pastures.
The family relocated to Ghana after many years with their lives improved. And Annie, the only daughter of her parents convinced them to invite her childhood friend Nana Ama to stay with them.
It was for a good cause but Nana Ama had a totally different plan for the now fabulously rich family of Annie.
According to the Director of Ekab Movies Production, Mr Bempong, “this movie will teach audience about the idiom that one good turn deserves another and the fact that one must not aim to pay good with evil because whatever seed one sows, he/she would surely reap the fruit of it.”
