DCOP Lydia Donkor, Chairperson of the Security Committee, has held a meeting with key stakeholders in the Brong Ahafo Region to foster unity amongst clubs and address the recent crowd violence at the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko.

The match, which ended 1-0 in favor of Nsoatreman FC, was marred by chaos, with players from both teams clashing during the game, leading the referee to issue four red cards – three to Asante Kotoko (Justice Blay, Michael Kyei Dwamena, and Mohammed Camara) and one to Nsoatreman FC (Stephen Diyou). The GBA President questioned what Ghana would be without the rule of law, which is upheld by judges and lawyers, adding that the country could descend into a system where only the strongest survive if justice is not properly administered.
