The Teshie Gbuglah Mantse, Original Nii Martey Laryea I, is celebrating ten years of blissful marriage to his wife Mrs. Mercy Aba Martey.
Known in private life as Mr. Daniel Nii Martey Laryea, the successful businessman and philanthropist is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Original Don Properties, a Real Estate and Construction Company as well as DMA Investments Limited, a diversified investment and management company.
Original Nii Martey Laryea I married his wife, a beautician by profession on 27th December 2013 at a colourful event in Enum Abasa, Cape Coast, after two years of courtship.
They are blessed with five children; four boys and a girl.

Police arrest two suspects for illegal tampering of mobile phone devices at Wassa Akropong

The Ghana Police Service, through an intelligence-led operation, has arrested two suspects for illegally tampering with mobile phone devices belonging to a credit sales company at Wassa Akropong in the Western Region.
The suspects, identified as Machiavelli Arthur and Gideon Ebenezer, both phone repairers operating in Wassa Akropong, were arrested on June 19, 2025.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects were using laptops and other devices to unlock, bypass, and flash mobile phones that had been sold on credit, enabling customers who defaulted on payments to continue using the phones without settling their debts.
Upon interrogation, the suspects admitted to using specialized software on their laptops to carry out the illegal activities.
Exhibits retrieved include laptops and other electronic devices used for unlocking and flashing the phones.
The suspects are currently in Police custody assisting investigations and will be put before court.

Seek healthcare at facilities where nursing services are available – Ministry of Health

As a result of the ongoing strike action by the Ghana Registered Nurses and
Midwives Association (GRNMA), it has become imperative for the Ministry of
Health to implement additional measures to mitigate any inconvenience that has been caused.
According to the Ministry, in a statement, it has through all appropriate channels, led negotiations to ensure the smooth approval and implementation of the
new Conditions of Service.
Against this backdrop, the statement added that in line with the Ministry’s policy to ensure healthy population for national development, it has become necessary to make provisions to fill the gaps created as a result of the strike.
Consequently, the Ministry has urged the general public to continue seeking healthcare services at various health facilities, including those where nursing services remain available, to ensure their health needs are met.
They Ministry also attached a link of health facilities across the country in the statement.
