“No dulling” lyrics not to ridicule Pastors, Christians – Keche

Ghanaian musician Joshua Ampah of music duo, Keche fame has clarified his lyrics on the “No Dulling” song which featured reigning Artiste of the Year, Kuame Eugene.
Some Christians have criticised his verse on the song, for which Keche Joshua called out fake pastors, and doubted the second coming of Jesus Christ, by saying Jesus Christ would have come by now, if the second coming was real.
Keche Joshua has rendered an apology to his fans who are disappointed in him for his verse on the smash hit, “No Dulling” song.
“All I will say is sorry to the fans who are disappointed in that lines in the song,” he said.
Speaking to The Spectator on the perceived blasphemy, he said, as a Christian he believed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and would not ridicule it in anyway.
“I am a Christian and believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and will not say anything to undermine it.”
“Sometimes as musicians we love to create phrases which will make people talk, and it wasn’t done with any malice,” he explained.
He told this paper that he had received a lot of messages from people raising issues of blasphemy with his verse on the song.
The song which featured the reigning Artiste of the Year, is the toast of many at events across the country, and competing strongly in many music charts.

Maame Tiwaa of ‘YawSarpong & Asomafo’fame passes on

MAAME TIWAA, the celebrated backing vocalist of legendary gospel group ‘Yaw Sarpong & Asomafo,’ has been reported dead after a short illness. The news of her demise broke in the early hours of Sunday, December 7, 2025.
For decades, Maame Tiwaa stood beside Yaw Sarpong as the soothing female voice of the group. She contributed to numerous gospel classics that continue to inspire believers across the country. Her vocals featured prominently on numerous gospel classics including ‘Wo Haw Ne Sen’, ‘Awurade Ka Me Ho’, ‘Yen Fa Oye Nkoaa’, and ‘Mensuro’. These songs became staples in Christian homes and churches across Ghana, with many believers drawing spiritual upliftment from her performances. Her voice helped establish the Asomafo sound as one of the most influential gospel collectives in the country.
Her last known performances was her tribute to Yaw Sarpong at this year’s TGMA night and at her son’s wedding. In recent months, Maame Tiwa had been actively caring for Yaw Sarpong during his health struggles.
