Dem Tinz rebrands to Mahnny, set to release ‘New Chapter’ EP in July

Over the years, many Ghanaian artistes have undergone name transformations, sometimes more than one.

It is against this backdrop that Ghanaian rapper, formerly known as Dem Tinz, will now be officially known as Mahnny, after a management decision.

The name Mahnny signifies deep Ghanaian roots, with hopes of bringing back the African way of making music creatively coined with rap.

Born Emmanuel Akesseh, is also a songwriter and recording artiste has had the privilege of performing on the same stage with musicians such as Samini, Sarkodie, KwawKesse, Edem, Stonebwoy, Obrafuor, and EpiXode amongst many others.

He has some amazing records to his credit such as, TwaDidi, Pressure B3 Fawo, Fa me Saa, Ebi Your Matter, Banger and among others.

In 2017, he was nominated for New Artiste of the Year in the Ghana Music Awards UK, and in 2018 one of his songs was nominated for Hiplife Song of the Year in the same award scheme.

As part of his rebranding, Mahnny has employed a new manager by the name Mr Dominic Kojo Andoh, and Mr Alexander Kofi Abaka as road manager.

Mahnny is set to release a six-track Extended Play (EP) dubbed ‘New Chapter’ in July to welcome a fresh start of his music journey after a long break from music.

The full tracklist of his EP, ‘New Chapter’, namely Intro (New Chapter), Love, Temperature, Nkatecake Flow, Bestie, and TwaDidiAmapiono, which featured Kra Chi and Tasha on the ‘Love’ and ‘Temperature’ song respectively.

Three producers worked on this EP namely Datbeatgod, Jake Beatz, and Eriz Beatz.

Magic Music Entertainment and their frontline artiste, Mahnny, has urged the public to help make the switch successful.

Miss Tourism Ghana princesses dazzle patrons at Regional Costume & Talent Night show

It was a night of colour, culture and creativity as Miss Tourism Ghana successfully held its Regional Costume & Talent Night in Accra.

The event drew fashion lovers, culture enthusiasts, and proud supporters who came out to witness Ghana’s beauty queens represent their regions on one grand stage. 

From the moment guests stepped in, the atmosphere was electric, ushering,

Okra, Zabe, Gina, Akpe, Sela, Afia,Asher and Ajua into the auditorium to mesmerize patrons.

The blistering night, commenced with a breathtaking regional costumes rocked by contestants that told stories of Ghana’s traditions from, african print, kente, smock, batakari, beads and other indigenous fabrics.

 Each outfit with beautiful local accessories to match was paired with confidence, poise, and pride.

The night then shifted gears into the talent segment. The audience was treated to powerful performances traditional dance, spoken word, fashion, singing, and drama all centered on promoting Ghana’s tourism and heritage.

The judges were stunned with the various displays and passed favorable commentaries encouraging the contestants to keep giving their all.

 Patrons left with unforgettable moments, and the contestants delivered to their expectations.

Organisers of Miss Tourism Ghana congratulated all the amazing participants who took part and urged them to forged ahead strongly before the grand final.

They also, encouraged families and friends to keep their favourite in the competition through their campaigns and votes.

The search for Ghana’s next tourism ambassador is officially on, and the competition is getting tighter with each stage.

Beyond the glamour, Miss Tourism Ghana continues to use the platform to market Ghana’s tourist sites, culture and hospitality to the world. 

The Regional Costume & Talent Night served as both entertainment and education, reminding Ghanaians of the beauty in our diversity.

Renowned gospel minister Nana Yaw Boakye known in showbiz circles as MOG Music is set to headline the 2026 edition of Ransomed Ministries Ghana’s Total Worship, September 20, 2026, at the ICGC Jesus Temple in Koforidua.

The annual worship experience aimed at bringing believers together for an evening of praise, prayer and spiritual renewal.

Themed: ‘Jesus Be the Name – Yeshua Hu Ha-Shem,’ seeks to remind believers that, regardless of life’s circumstances, Jesus remains their hope, strength and salvation.
