Workers dangle from 26th floor after woman cuts rope
Two painters were left dangling from the 26th floor of a high-rise in Thailand after a woman cut their support rope.
The woman, a resident of the high-rise condominium, was reportedly angry that she had not been informed before they started the job, according to police report and had been charged with attempted murder.
The workers were left dangling hundreds of feet above the ground when the resident of the building snapped a rope that was supporting them. The 34-year-old woman was said to have done it without any warning. The incident took place October 12.
The video, shared on social media, showed the workers literally hanging on for dear life from the 26th floor of the building as they shout for help, asking the residents to open their windows and let them in.
One of the workers spoke to the media and said that he and his two co-workers were lowering themselves from the 32nd floor when they felt their support rope go loose.
The two workers were finally helped by a resident and her husband. “This incident is shocking and should not happen at all,” the rescuer said.
The woman, whose identity had not been revealed, initially denied having played any part in the act. However, she later confessed when the police showed her surveillance footage and told her fingerprints were found on the rope. – ndtv.com
Cow turns on man harassing dog
A disturbing video of a man harassing a dog took an unexpected turn when a cow turned the tables on him.
Footage shared online captured the man repeatedly pulling the dog up by its neck as the animal yelped and whined in pain.
The man, dressed in a checked shirt and trousers, kept harassing the dog even as it howled miserably. Suddenly, however, he was interrupted by a cow barging into the scene.
The cow was filmed pushing the helpless dog away from the man. Then, before he could react, the cow began attacking the man in what many on the internet termed the perfect example of “instant karma”.
In the video, the cow was seen mauling the man, pushing him to the ground where he rolled around helplessly for a few seconds before the video ended. The footage was shared on Twitter by an Indian Forest Service officer who captioned it simply “Karma”. – ndtv.com
Swimmer attacked by alligator in horrifying video
A horrifying video captured the moment an alligator chased and attacked a swimmer in Brazil. The incident took place at a spot with a lake that is popular with tourists.
The Lago do Amor lake in Campo Grande, however, is off-limit for swimmers due to the presence of alligators, so when Willyan Caetano saw a man enter the prohibited waters, he began filming.
“A man entered the water around 4:40 pm and started swimming in the place, where entry is prohibited,” he said.
His video showed the moment an alligator in the lake began chasing the unlucky swimmer. According to Mr Caetano, the man tried swimming faster in order to escape the oncoming reptile.
“He tried to swim fast to get away, but the alligator managed to reach him and land a violent bite on the man’s arm. He came out of the water with his arm all bloody and very scared, saying he didn’t know there was an alligator,” Mr Caetano said. – ndtv.com
Plane flying over garden drops human waste on man
A man and his garden were left splattered in human excrement dropped from an aircraft in the UK.
The incident took place in the town of Windsor in mid-July but made the news recently after local Councillor, Karen Davies, brought it to the attention of the aviation forum of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
She said the man’s “whole garden, and garden umbrellas, and him” were splattered in human waste dumped from a plane flying overheard.
John Bowden, the Councillor of Eton and Castle, suggested that warm weather might have had a hand in the incident, causing the excrement to “come out as a more ‘fluidy’ item” rather than a frozen block.
According to reports, the name of the airline responsible for the incident has not been released. Meanwhile, the man who was subjected to its unceremonious dumping of sewage decided not to pursue an insurance claim against the airline. – ndtv.com
TV channel airs porn clip during weather report
Viewers watching the weather forecast in Washington, US, received a bit of a shock after a local news channel accidentally aired a pornographic clip.
KREM, a local CBS-affiliated news outlet based in Spokane, Washington, broadcast the 13-second explicit video during their 6pm newscast.
Meteorologist Michelle Boss was giving a weather update when the porn clip began playing over her shoulder. Neither she, nor her co-anchor, appeared to be aware of the clip.
They both continued their report as the graphic video played out in the background before eventually cutting away to more weather footage.
KREM apologised for the “inappropriate” video during their 11pm broadcast, according to reports.
The Spokane Police Department was investigating the incident after receiving several concerned calls from viewers. – ndtv.com

Loose goat evades pursuing police in Georgia

Police in Georgia are hot on the trail of a ‘hoofed Houdini’ — an escaped goat spotted running loose in Duluth.
The Duluth Police Department said on social media that numerous calls came on Tuesday, reporting a loose goat ‘trotting’ on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard ‘like it had somewhere very important to be.’
“Officers responded and attempted to corral the hoofed Houdini as it made its way toward Albion Farm Road, where it hopped a few fences and outsmarted us by disappearing into backyards,” the post said.
Police suspect the goat might be the same animal seen running loose recently in Suwanee.
“Apparently, it had unfinished business in Duluth,” police wrote.
