For most people, fishing trips are all about taking it slow, spending time in nature and sipping on some yummy drinks while hoping to make a good catch.

However, things went slightly differently for a fishing group in Florida when they had a rather unexpected guest barge in on their fun time. This was no ordinary guest.

A group of friends were met by a massive alligator that sneaked up on them from the water. A video of the incident was initially shared on TikTok on Tuesday and garnered more than 25 million views. 

Soon enough, the video went viral across social media platforms with viewers expressing shock and fear at what they were witnessing.

In the video, a woman was filming one of her friends with a fishing line in the water. They were apparently trying to spot the alligator they had seen previously in the shallow water.

As the group remained engrossed in their task, the alligator was seen approaching the area where the woman was standing, staring at her with an eerie calmness in its eyes.

The group were heard talking loudly in the video, which could have led to the alligator feeling agitated but did not come out of the water. – ndtv.com
