Tidal Rave Festival announces daytime performances for the first time

The countdown is over, as organisers get set for Tidal Rave Festival 2024 to deliver the most unforgettable beach experience of the year.
Revelers are to set their plans for Saturday, October 12, because La Palm Royal Beach is about to transform into a hub of music, fun, and non-stop excitement.
With the theme “Catch the Sun”, Tidal Rave 2024 promises to elevate rave experience of patrons with a lineup like no other.
For the first time ever, ravers will enjoy a mix of daytime and after sunset performances across two stages: the Solar Stage and the Sunset Stage.
It’s going to be one stage, with two distinct characteristics based on the time of day giving ravers one unforgettable experience.
According to the organisers, ravers should get ready to experience the Solar Stage kicking off the festival with some of the hottest names in Ghanaian music, and a fresh wave of talent.
patrons would witness an incredible performances from heavyweights like Sarkodie, Kidi, Sheldon The Turn Up, Chichi DJ, and more.
The daytime will be filled with colour, and so will the vibe, as the beach is filled with energy, music, and fun.
As the day fades, the festival will enter its second phase with the Sunset Stage.
The Sunset Stage will come to life with performances by top stars including Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Joey B, and DJ Vyrusky, all backed by an all-star crew of hype MCs like Kojo Manuel and others.
Beyond the music, Tidal Rave is a full-on festival experience with an array of exciting activities to keep ravers entertained throughout the day.
It offers the experience for people to Dive into epic Beach Games, enjoy the spectacular Samba Ladies Carnival, and explore interactive zones like the Coke Village, Absa Ignition Market, and Sprite Creators Cove.
This year’s Tidal Rave Festival is powered by EchoHouse, in partnership with Absa, Coca-Cola, Flames Condoms, CloseUp, and Johnnie Walker.

Franky 5 is new host of Max Morning Live

Celebrated radio and television personality Frank Kwabena Owusu affectionately called Franky 5 has officially joined the iMAX Media Group.
The renowned presenter is set to light up the screens of Max TV as host of the station’s flagship morning show, Max Morning Live, starting Monday, September 8, 2020, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Osanju is dead

Popular Ghanaian content creator, Elvis Frimpong, known in showbiz circles as Osanju has been reported dead.
According to sources, he was said to have died in the early hours on Monday, September 1, 2025 after a long battle with blood cancer (Leukemia)
His death has been a shock in the Ghanaian community especially coming shortly after his last post.
His demise comes five months after he had laid his mother, Amounu, also a tiktoker, to rest, having lost her in January.
Hours before his passing, he had posted a video on Sunday with friends watching the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match, prompting many fans to initially dismiss the reports as a hoax.
Osanju’s death has been described as a huge loss by followers who admired his openness, resilience and positive outlook in the face of ill health.
However, Osanju had previously shared his battle with leukemia, a cancer of the blood, on his TikTok account, even eerily predicting his own demise on a couple of occasions.
