The Susanna Wesley Mission Auxiliary (SUWMA) of the New Aplaku Circuit of the Methodist Church Ghana last week donated assorted items to the Royal Seed Orphanage at Kasoa Papasi in the Central Region.
The items included milo, powdered milk and groceries, washing powder, crates of egg, soft drinks and toilet rolls.
Presenting the items, the Circuit Chairman, Augustina Adjoa Nunoo, said the exercise was aimed at giving hope to the children.
She stated that the founder of Methodism, Susanna Wesley, was a prayerful, caring, hardworking and a believer of Christ and that due to her faith and prayer life, one of her children became a servant of God.
According to Madam Nunoo, the Methodist Church have many organisations, one of which is SUWMA which gives recognition to Susanna Wesley as the mother of Methodosim
She said the aims and objectives of the organisation was to care for ministers, orphans, widows and destitute in the society.
The Susanna Wesley Mission Auxiliary (SUWMA) of the Methodist Church of Ghana is an association of female members in the Church who are committed to cleaning and decorating the church, organising retreats, ministering the gospel to prisoners and participating in all church activities.

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has commenced investigations into an allegation that a Customs officer at the Accra International Airport collected GH¢600 from a TikToker without issuing a receipt.
The GRA said it took note of a video circulating on social media in which TikToker Lady Rev. Adwoa Pretty alleged that a Customs officer stationed at the airport collected the money from her without providing a receipt.
In a public notice, the GRA said it had begun investigations into the matter and would update the public on its findings after the process is completed.
The Authority assured the public of its commitment to maintaining integrity, accountability and professionalism in the performance of its duties.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the successful election of its new national executives.
In a statement signed by its General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC said it remained committed to promoting peaceful political engagement and democratic values in Ghana.
The party stressed the need for all political actors to work together to protect and deepen the country’s democratic gains.
The NDC expressed hope that the new NPP executives would work to ensure that the national interest takes precedence over the interests of the two major political parties.
“It is the fervent hope of the NDC that under the tenure of this new crop of executives, there will be mutual effort to ensure that the interest of Ghana always surpasses the narrow interest of the two respective parties,” the statement said.
The NDC added that such cooperation would contribute to efforts to make Ghana “great and strong.”
