Pyjamas photo shoot in vogue this Christmas

Published

on

Seeing a family picture hanging on the wall or sitting comfortably on the shelf is a satisfying feature in every home.

Some families mostly take pictures during weddings, family gatherings and sometimes during Christmas. There is mostly an outfit to match in these pictures depending on the occasion.

The trend of today’s families is having a pyjamas photo shoot. Families wear matching pyjamas and go to the photo studio, stand under their Christmas tree or use an important part of their room for their photo shoot.

Pyjamas photo shoot is mostly done during Christmas because that is the period where most family members reunite.

Some families usually wear pyjamas with Christmas illustrations. Pyjamas pictures can be taken anytime of the day though pyjamas are worn at night and the sole motive is to have a perfect family picture following the pyjamas trend to plant beautiful family memories.

Family pyjamas pictures in the 60s ,70s and 80s were used as adverts for clothing shops. The trend took over social media in 2013 when Dean and Kim Holderness and their two children wore pyjamas on Christmas in their viral YouTube video with the hashtag #XMASJAMMIES. The video reached about 18 million views around the world and the family pyjamas tradition became a holiday trend.
