Mother drops 3-year-old child into bear enclosure
A horrifying video captured the moment a mother dropped her three-year-old daughter into a bear enclosure at a zoo in Uzbekistan. She has now been charged with attempted murder.
Shocking footage from the Zoo showed the mother dangling her child over the railings before dropping her down. According to news reports, horrified onlookers watched helplessly as the child landed in a trench about 16-feet below, right into the brown bear’s den.
The bear, named Zuzu, had been circling its enclosure. Witnesses said that it went up to the girl and sniffed her after she landed in the trench. Fortunately, the bear moved away after sniffing the child and did not hurt her.
Meanwhile, zookeepers managed to lure the animal into an indoor part of the enclosure in order to rescue the girl. The mother, who has not been named, was detained and charged with attempted murder. She faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted. –ndtv.com

A brown bear wandered into a hotel in Tibet and forced its way into a locked room with two guests inside.
Security camera footage from the hotel in Nagqu shows the bear wander down a hallway inside the building on Saturday and force its way through a door into an occupied room.
The guests in the room said they stared at the bear for a few seconds before it left the room on its own.
The hotel owner used a flashlight and other tools to scare the bear and chase it out of the building.The door has since been repaired and the hotel said it is adding additional security measures to keep bears out.
