AFTER ending a seven-year winless run at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi against rivals Asante Kotoko last week, Accra Hearts of Oak will return to their fortress, the University of Ghana Stadium, tomorrow to take on Berekum Chelsea with the hope of closing in on leaders Medeama SC.

The Phobians trail the Yellow and Mauves by five points going into this weekend’s round of games and look likely to reduce that gap if results go their way.

Having already defeated the same side 2-0 away in Berekum in the first round, the Phobians are fired up for a double of the “Bibires”, who are battling relegation.

League leaders Medeama SC will look to return to winning ways when they visit the Nsenkyire Sports Arena to play as guests of Samartex FC.

The Tarkwa side is looking to stretch their lead on the log after a disappointing home draw with Aduana FC last week reduced it to five points.

Medeama, who recently showed composure from the spot to claim a 4–2 shootout victory over Samartex in the MTN FA Cup Round of 16 game, know how difficult a task it will be to secure victory tomorrow.

Asante Kotoko will look to return to winning ways when they travel to the Wenchi Sports Stadium to face a Young Apostles side who are determined to avenge a 2-1 defeat suffered in Kumasi in the first round.

Dreams FC will tomorrow trek to the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese to play as guests of Nations FC, who suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Hohoe United in their last game.
