Man moves large snake off road with bare hands
A video of a person moving a snake which was crossing a road with his bare hands has caught Twitter’s attention.
In the clip, uploaded by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan on Twitter, the man was seen alighting from a vehicle and casually walking towards the snake.
He then picked the serpent by its tail and moved it into the forest as people, in the background, were heard shouting and advising him against it. Moments later, the snake slithers its way into the forest.
According to Mr Kaswan, the incident took place in South India.
He wrote: “Going into wildlife habitat and disturbing or saving it from a road accident. Your views on it.” At the time of writing this, the video had amassed more than 14,000 views on Twitter where users were quick in responding to Mr Kaswan’s question.
For many, the man saved the snake from a mishap as it could have come under a vehicle.
“Looks like he was saving it from being run over,” one user said.
“I feel it is better to just turn off your headlights and wait for the snake to cross. This had happened to me once and we just waited for the snake to pass. Not all roads near or inside forest divisions have night time restrictions so this is a common occurrence,” another user said. —ndtv.com

A brown bear wandered into a hotel in Tibet and forced its way into a locked room with two guests inside.
Security camera footage from the hotel in Nagqu shows the bear wander down a hallway inside the building on Saturday and force its way through a door into an occupied room.
The guests in the room said they stared at the bear for a few seconds before it left the room on its own.
The hotel owner used a flashlight and other tools to scare the bear and chase it out of the building.The door has since been repaired and the hotel said it is adding additional security measures to keep bears out.
