Asante Kotoko will hope to shake themselves off the relegation zone tomorrow when they welcome defending betPawa Premier League champions Medeama SC to the Baba Yara Stadium for their match day 11 game.

Kotoko lie 16th on the log with 10 points from 10 games.

The last time the two teams met in a league game at the same venue, Medeama ran away with a 2-0 win but Kotoko fans cannot afford to watch their team drop points again.

They watched in pain as Dreams FC administer a difficult home defeat on them and followed up with an away defeat to Samartex last week.

Back at their favourite turf, Kotoko will be expected to pick up the pieces and grind the results against the Yellow and Mauve boys to appease their fans.

But Coach Augustine Adotey of Medeama would not be in any mood to drop points against Kotoko even without three of their top performers – Jonathan Sowah, Fatawu Hamidu, and Nurudeen Abdulai.

At the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale today, current league leaders, Aduana Stars will seek to stretch their lead on the log when they play as guests of Karela United.

Chasing their second win at the same venue after defeating RTU 3-1 on match day seven, Aduana Stars would be hoping that Karela United’s bad patch of form at home would continue to give them the upper hand.

Second-placed Nsoatreman FC will look to keep the chase on leaders Aduana Stars when they play as guests of regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano at the Sunyani Coronations Park tomorrow.

Great Olympics will take their turn on Monday when they play host to FC Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium.

On Tuesday, Accra Lions will host Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in a game expected to be full of fireworks.
