Eric Jeshrun graduates with Master of Arts in Ministry

Ghanaian gospel musician Eric Jeshrun has graduated with Master of Arts in Ministry Programme.
Eric Jeshrun, graduated last Saturday, January 23, from the Trinity Theological Seminary in Accra.
According to Eric Jeshrun, the move was aimed at increasing his depth of knowledge about the Bible.
“I did it because i felt i need more knowledge into the bible,” he said.
The “Yahweh” hit maker believes that this would aid his music and preaching ministry to touch more lives.
Interestingly, Jeshrun in the middle of the programme released his Healing Stream album last year.
As part of his music ministry is the Jeshrun Okyere Global Outreach (JOGO), which has been running for more than a decade.
JOGO over the years has helped a lot of youth battling addiction and also touched lives of many downtrodden in the country.

Maame Tiwaa of ‘YawSarpong & Asomafo’fame passes on

MAAME TIWAA, the celebrated backing vocalist of legendary gospel group ‘Yaw Sarpong & Asomafo,’ has been reported dead after a short illness. The news of her demise broke in the early hours of Sunday, December 7, 2025.
For decades, Maame Tiwaa stood beside Yaw Sarpong as the soothing female voice of the group. She contributed to numerous gospel classics that continue to inspire believers across the country. Her vocals featured prominently on numerous gospel classics including ‘Wo Haw Ne Sen’, ‘Awurade Ka Me Ho’, ‘Yen Fa Oye Nkoaa’, and ‘Mensuro’. These songs became staples in Christian homes and churches across Ghana, with many believers drawing spiritual upliftment from her performances. Her voice helped establish the Asomafo sound as one of the most influential gospel collectives in the country.
Her last known performances was her tribute to Yaw Sarpong at this year’s TGMA night and at her son’s wedding. In recent months, Maame Tiwa had been actively caring for Yaw Sarpong during his health struggles.
