DSL preaches peace and truth in ‘Back To The Roots’ EP

Fast-rising Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician, Lawrence Senyo Adiase, known in private life as DSL has sent a message of peace and truth in his new Extended Play, EP.
The Reggae EP, dubbed ‘Back To The Roots’ is made up of four songs, Truth, Tell I How (Symphony Riddim), Going Down, and I’m High.
Speaking to Thespectatoronline.com at an exclusive listening session before the release today, DSL said the recording journey has been amazing, and had always wanted to deliver a message through his song.
According to him, she strongly believes that Christians should not always be marching to war, “like onward Christian soldiers marching to war, as we are Christians, we should always be marching towards peace.”
He urged Christians to preach and practise peaceful co-existence in all their endeavours for a better world.
He added that one of his songs, ‘Tell I How’, tells the story of how Preachers and teachers always “tell us when you do this, you’ll go to heaven, do this and do that. In my father’s house, there are many mansions, we do good, but we are still suffering, what have we done.”
Against this backdrop he said, the people must be told the truth in all situations so they can be calm and at peace with each other.
DSL noted that a world made of peace and truth will suppress all evil and enhance comfortable living for all.
He concluded by urging his fans to go and stream ‘ Back To The Roots’, EP.
The EP was produced by Richie Mensah, Afroharmony Band, Raindrops, and Mr. Logic.

Osanju is dead

Popular Ghanaian content creator, Elvis Frimpong, known in showbiz circles as Osanju has been reported dead.
According to sources, he was said to have died in the early hours on Monday, September 1, 2025 after a long battle with blood cancer (Leukemia)
His death has been a shock in the Ghanaian community especially coming shortly after his last post.
His demise comes five months after he had laid his mother, Amounu, also a tiktoker, to rest, having lost her in January.
Hours before his passing, he had posted a video on Sunday with friends watching the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match, prompting many fans to initially dismiss the reports as a hoax.
Osanju’s death has been described as a huge loss by followers who admired his openness, resilience and positive outlook in the face of ill health.
However, Osanju had previously shared his battle with leukemia, a cancer of the blood, on his TikTok account, even eerily predicting his own demise on a couple of occasions.
