Della Sowah, former Deputy Minister of Gender and Member of Parliament for Kpando constituency has fed about 600 children in Kpando.
This formed part of the former Member of Parliament’s Christmas celebration with children in the constituency.
The children were served sumptuous meals, drinks and candies.
To make the occasion memorable, she distributed toys to every child.
Della Sowah further urged the children to take their academics very seriously.
This, she said, would help them reach their dream and turn things around for them and their families.
She used the opportunity to charge parents not to renege on their responsibilities to build a better future for these children.
Della Sowah thanked everyone who supported her throughout her term as an MP for the area and pledged continuous support to the constituency.

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has commenced investigations into an allegation that a Customs officer at the Accra International Airport collected GH¢600 from a TikToker without issuing a receipt.
The GRA said it took note of a video circulating on social media in which TikToker Lady Rev. Adwoa Pretty alleged that a Customs officer stationed at the airport collected the money from her without providing a receipt.
In a public notice, the GRA said it had begun investigations into the matter and would update the public on its findings after the process is completed.
The Authority assured the public of its commitment to maintaining integrity, accountability and professionalism in the performance of its duties.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the successful election of its new national executives.
In a statement signed by its General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC said it remained committed to promoting peaceful political engagement and democratic values in Ghana.
The party stressed the need for all political actors to work together to protect and deepen the country’s democratic gains.
The NDC expressed hope that the new NPP executives would work to ensure that the national interest takes precedence over the interests of the two major political parties.
“It is the fervent hope of the NDC that under the tenure of this new crop of executives, there will be mutual effort to ensure that the interest of Ghana always surpasses the narrow interest of the two respective parties,” the statement said.
The NDC added that such cooperation would contribute to efforts to make Ghana “great and strong.”
