CAUSES OF CRIME ROOT IN MOST LOCALITY.
Day in, day out on the data, there are all sorts of reports. Crime opinions are a predominant vicinity of modern-day events. Almost each and every day there are posts about crimes.
The charge at which people commit crime has risen immensely in each and every nook of the world. People have tried to apprehend the elements of crime, then as unexpectedly as extended if we exhibit off up spherical the world , we can see that many of the crimes are precipitated with the aid of the use of accepted typical performance of the utilization of way the use of manageable of human beings who abuse pills and alcohol, politics , and poverty.
Poverty is one of the indispensable reasons for crime. Countries with excessive costs of monetary deprivation have a tendency to witness increased crime costs than distinct countries. Since people do not have the functionality to tightly closed a dwelling in the suitable ways, they invest their time in crook things to do questioning about the reality that they are no longer totally an handy manageable to get what they decide for then again additionally do now no longer require any distinct prerequisite talents.
The ever-increasing divide we are witnessing between the prosperous and the bad can also be attributed to larger and increased of the terrible searching to crime as a capability for living. Not being capable to earn and hold themselves leaves human beings so aggravated that they resort to illegal plausible to preserve themselves and their families.
Drugs have continuously been notably criticized via critics. A man or woman who is addicted to drug will at one thing in time do some concern he/she isn’t supposed to do. Drug addicts are in many instances unable to get rid of dependency as a grant up supply up stop result of which their existence starts off evolved getting stuffed with horrible habits. A horrible way of existence compels a person to undertake habits which he/she distance themselves from. After research, when the most violent criminals had been requested about their crimes, they blamed tablets as the primary reason. Drug dependency is some splendid rampantly developing sickness which has slowly encapsulated many elements of the world.
Another root purpose to crime is politics. This hassle is many instances brushed beneath the carpet then once more is integral to deliver it in the spotlight. The stress to get that seat is what swings many politicians to equip the youths with weapons and characteristic criminal activities. In this day and age, it is acquainted for politicians to appoint mobs and hire human beings at reduce costs to harm into a putting up or commence a war-like united states of affairs indoors the country.
Politics have commonly been the assignment of severe media scrutiny, and the truth be told, it is regularly the mother of all the troubles in international areas which haven’t stabilized. In developing worldwide places it is popular for politicians to kill human beings and to be determined responsible of murder. There have been pretty a few conditions in many worldwide areas the area politicians had been decided responsible of having killed their human beings in masses.
The causes of crime are complex. Poverty, politics, alcohol and drug abuse can be associated to why human beings smash the law. Some are at huge hazard of turning into offenders due to the fact of the situations into which they are born.
In my conclusion, I will say it is quintessential to proceed to be away from crime. The world is truly blind in setting apart needs from desires. Even if you have much less money for survival, you have to be delighted with it as a desire of inclined to contour yourself in the pool of crime. And then once more government create sufficient jobs in other decrease the price of unemployment main to poverty which is swallowing human beings these days which is also a essential root motive to crime.

Traffic jam on Weija-Kasoa highway
I experienced something on Monday, June 15, that really frustrated me. I had to go to the ministries but I could not get up early that day so I decided to pick a taxi and get to the Tuba Junction.
When I got there I realised that Traffic had built up from the Toll Booth towards Accra. After a while I got a Taxi and it was when we got to a certain spot on the road, that I realised why there was a traffic jam.
There is a short stretch of the road where each time it rains heavily, loose material run down the hill onto the road, blocking one side of the road. Vehicles from Kasoa to Accra are then forced to move into one of the lanes of those going towards Kasoa from Accra.
The two lane road from Accra to Kasoa becomes a single carriage way. That was the reason for the traffic jam from the toll booth onwards.
This has been a perineal problem and yet, no permanent solution has been found till date. The area falls under Ga South and even though, a new MCE has taken over, the technocrats are still there and so the problem is not new to them.
There is therefore no excuse for the inability of the Ga South Metropolitan Assembly to resolving the problem on that stretch of the road. Apart from the Ga South Metropolitan Assembly, another institution that must be held accountable is the Ghana Highways Authority.
The Highways Authority cannot say they are unaware of this issue. The fact that the problem falls within the area of responsibility of the Ga South Assembly, does not relieve the Ghana Highways Authority, of their responsibility of ensuring that our highways are maintained in a motorable state at all times.
A collaboration between the Ghana Highways Authority and The Ga South Municipal Assembly is required for a permanent resolution of the problem.
There was another traffic jam at a place called Atala about 250 metres to the traffic light at Old Barrier as a result of an issue similar to the one close to the toll booth, that I talked about earlier.
When we got to Weija junction, we encountered another traffic jam. The cause of this jam was a bad condition of road about 80 metres from the traffic light at Ga South Hospital heading towards Accra.
Due to the bad nature at that section of the road, vehicles are compelled to slow down resulting in a traffic jam stretching all the way to Weija Junction.
I started wondering if that short stretch of road cannot be sorted on one Sunday when traffic is usually light. When we got to the traffic light at Odorkor, there was another issue.
When the traffic light shows green, there is a slow down because there is a big pothole or should I say manhole in the outer lane, right at the traffic light. Vehicles in the outer lane are compelled to swerve into the second lane thereby causing a traffic to slow down and resulting in a traffic jam.
It is very important to take into account the effect of traffic jam on the national economy. If we are able to assess the value of the loss to the economy of the nation, I believe the issue of traffic jam will be prioritised.
Imagine persons working at various Government Organisations like Registrar General’s Department, Ghana Ports and Habours Authority, Ghana Revenue Authority, CEPS etc. and lives at Kasoa and whose job is to collect revenue for the state and is held up in traffic.
Just imagine the effect their lateness to work will have on the economy if you consider the delays in say clearing of goods at the port and as a result traders cannot sell their goods for government to generate the required taxes.
Let us deal with the traffic jams on our streets to promote economic growth. God bless.
