A government official in the Philippines was caught having sex with his secretary during a Zoom meeting. According to a Daily Mail report, the Fatima Dos Village Council in Cavite was hosting a regular business meeting online when their boss, Jesus Estil, joined the call. Members of the council were scandalised to see him walk to the back of the room and begin engaging in sexual acts with a woman who was later identified as his secretary.
According to news website KENH14, Mr Estil appeared to be struggling to turn off the camera before walking away. He did not seem to realise that the camera was still on and his colleagues were watching him.
A colleague of Mr Estil’s managed to record the explicit act in a video that has been widely circulated online. The video was shared on Facebook by Philippines journalist Erwin Tulfo two days ago, where it has since registered over 2 million views and led to calls for Mr Estil’s suspension.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday said that an investigation has been launched into the incident. “If true, this is unbecoming of an elected government official. We will make sure that this incident will be investigated and the captain will be meted with penalties for his acts,” DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya said, according to the Philippine News Agency.
Mr Estil and his secretary have not reported to office since the video was made public.
Virtual meetings have become the new normal as millions across the world work from home during the coronavirus pandemic. In May, a businessman accidentally appeared naked during a Zoom conference call with Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro. https://www.ndtv.com/

Talented dog jumps across backs of 56 people to break world record
An Alberta baseball team hosted a Guinness World Record attempt involving an Australian shepherd jumping across the backs of 56 people.
The Edmonton Riverhawks, an amateur summer collegiate team in the West Coast League, hosted the record attempt for the most jumps between people by a dog in one minute during a June 14 game.
Chardonnay, a 4-year-old Australian shepherd belonging to dog trainer Jennifer Fraser, bounded across the backs of 56 fans arranged in a straight line in the outfield.
The record’s rules set a time limit of one minute, but Chardonnay managed to set the record in just 16 seconds.
Fraser said she trained Chardonnay to jump onto her back a few years ago, and her trick repertoire has since expanded.
“Jumping across backs is just one of her many skills,” Fraser said.

Stuck parrot rescued from third-floor balcony in San Francisco

Firefighters and an animal control officer in San Francisco came to the rescue of a wild parrot that got its head stuck between panes of glass on a third-floor balcony.
San Francisco Animal Care & Control said on social media that Officer Mullen responded alongside the San Francisco Fire Department on Sunday when a parrot was spotted with its head stuck between two panes of glass on the balcony of an under-construction building.
Firefighters went to the roof of a building and lowered a ladder to the balcony, where they were able to slide the bird upward to free its head.
“They wrapped the bird in a towel and handed it off to Officer Mullen, who checked out the bird,” the post said. “Thankfully they were fine: their wings, legs and neck were all OK, so Officer Mullen released the bird.”
The parrot made its way to a nearby tree to rest on a branch. UPI.com
