Sad News: Gospel musician Broda Sammy loses mother
Ghanaian gospel musician, Broda Sammy, has lost his mother, affectionately known as Auntie Kokwaa.
The 80-year-old woman passed on at 2 am today, May 20, 2025, at Bremang in Kumasi, Ashanti Region after a long illness .
Broda Sammy, the only child, broke the news to spectator.com.gh in an exclusive interview.
According to him, the family will meet today to deliberate on further arrangements. He said the arrangements would be made public after the family meeting.
Sharing some fond memories, Broda Sammy revealed that he will miss how she welcomes him anytime they meet.
