From fufuo pounding to the exhibition of coffins at the Pokuase interchange…Fred Kyei Mensah writes
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fredyma Studio, Fred Kyei Mensah has expressed his worry over commercial activities springing up around the Pokuase Interchange.
In a Facebook post, he wrote, “The desecration of the Pokuase Interchange in Accra, continues unabated. I live around and can’t sit down unconcerned for individuals, to pulp this mighty edifice with their parochial interests to bring into disrepute the honor and the resources pumped into its construction.”
According to Fredyma, “I don’t know if this is how interchanges in other jurisdictions are managed! 3y3 tan! I have reported severally to the authorities responsible for the upkeep of this monumental edifice, however, to no avail.”
“From the noise of daylight evangelists to that of the GPRTU, drinking spots, fufuo pounding, and now, the selling of coffins under the interchange, is repugnant and smacks of the lack of discipline from the Ga North Assembly,” the renowned producer said.
“If the elders of a town allowed the children in it to consume some forbidden meat, they would be counted amongst them on the day of reckoning. I know this post would be limited by some unforeseen hands only for a few people to see it. Life is there for all of us.Good beads don’t rattle,” he said.
