Hundreds of Ghanaian fashion lovers and exhibitors last Thursday, thronged the Legon City Mall in Accra for the third edition of the fast-growing Kaba and Slit Festival.

Dubbed: ‘the Duku (scarf) Edition,’ the event featured a rich display of the traditional kaba and slit outfit with colourful scarfs amidst music, dance and fanfare.

Speaking to The Spectator after the event, the Founder of the event, Mrs Deborah Kabutey-Djisah popularly known as Manye Korngo expressed gratitude to patrons and team for their efforts in holding yet another successful festival.

“This festival has come to stay and we are happy that young people especially are getting involved as it would help in the promotion of Ghanaian culture and patriotism,” she noted.

She called on the government and private organisations to come on board for the next edition, which is expected to be bigger and better.
