The Royal Queens Group of Golokwati in the Afadjato South District of the Volta Region has recently held its general meeting and get-together at the Kas Valley Restaurant, Oyibi near Accra.

The meeting which was aimed at fostering unity, peace and love among members was attended by members with diverse professional backgrounds.

The Guest of Honour, Evangelist Doris Aku Djigbodi Cudjo, admonished the women to strive hard to become instruments of love, peace, joy, faithfulness, kindness, and gentleness among others.

She emphasised that these virtues were essential because women were responsible for raising the family of God’s children, and since the family formed the foundation of a good community, they must not shirk in their responsibilities.

The President of the group, Madam Hilda Hubert, encouraged members to wait patiently for God’s appointed time in their lives, while working hard to support their homes and take care of their children and of themselves.

The Chairperson for the programme, Mrs Eva Dziedzorm Azah, also a member, graciously supported the group with a donation and advised her colleagues to uphold the values of the association by carrying themselves out in dignity, and live in unity with all manner of people.

The group’s objectives include promoting love and unity among members, lending support to all in diverse ways and ensuring peaceful coexistence in their communities.

Activities such as dynasty dancing, socialisation, playing of ampe and other fun-filled events made the day a memorable one.
