Presidential Race: EC announces list of qualified candidates to contest 2024 elections
The Electoral Commission has finally announced list of candidates who qualify to contest the 2024 Presidential race.In a statement issued today, the EC indicated that “Following the successful conduct of the Filing of Nominations from September 9-13, 2024.”
” The Commission instituted a thorough
examination of the Nomination Forms submitted by the Candidates to ensure
conformity with requirements as set out in law,” the added.
“The Electoral Commission wishes to inform the General Public that the following persons ave successfully gone through the Nomination process and qualify to contest as Candidates in the 2024 Presidential Election,” they concluded.
