President Mahama delivers on road promise to Western North 

President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday announced massive road projects for the Western North Region under the transformative ‘$10 Billion Big Push Infrastructure Programme.

Responding to a passionate appeal from the Western North Regional House of Chiefs, who highlighted their trust in him with their votes, President Mahama declared.

He said, “These roads are vital arteries for moving cocoa, timber, food products, and people across our country. They are not a luxury; they are a necessity!”

The President futher assured them, “Get ready for better connectivity! Many key roads, including vital cocoa routes, will be completed or newly constructed. This is part of our commitment to invest at least $2 billion every year in infrastructure, starting with the 2025 budget.”

“We are committing resources and technical teams to ensure that these roads are completed on schedule,” President Mahama assured the excited crowd in Juaboso during his “Thank You Tour,” he concluded.
