Oly will fall in Accra derby – Hearts Asst. Coach

Coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru Tijani
The Assistant Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Abdul Rahim Bashiru Tijani, has predicted doom for their city rivals, Accra Great Olympics when they clash in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) match day 33 game dubbed the ‘Accra derby’ tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Sounding very emphatic in an interview after the Phobians defeated Nations FC last week, Coach Tijani declared that “Hearts would beat Olympics on Sunday. There’ll be no escape route for them, they will fall.”
Two points separates Hearts and Olympics ahead of the fate-defining clash which both sides hope to win to boost their relegation survival.
Despite the recent good run of Olympics in this clash, Coach Tijani stated that the Phobians would ride on the confidence from the win over Nations FC to halt the Wonder jet.
“Yes, Olympics have enjoyed a good run over Hearts in recent times but that also marked the period when I was their assistant coach. In this new boat, I’ll do whatever it takes to halt that trend.”
“We’re aware of the tension and pressure that comes with this game but we are ready. Our aim is to take all three points,” he said.
Coach Tijani, however cautioned the Phobians against complacency because Olympics are wounded and their survival is at stake.
In other games, RTU would host Asante Kotoko at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex today while Accra Lions host Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium, also today while Karela United face FC Samartex at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex tomorrow.
At Kpando, Heart of Lions will host Legon Cities, Bofoakwa engage Berekum Chelsea in Sunyani, Aduana FC versus Nsoatreman at Dormaa, Goldstars face to face with Medeama and Nations FC to slug it out with Bechem United.
