NDC majority will stand for the people-Ato Forson
The leader of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) in Parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured Ghanaians that they will stand for them.
According to him, with NDC as majority in Parliament after the Speaker, Alban Bagbin’s declaration is the beginning of the processes to reset the country.
He said the people of Ghana voted for the NDC majority, but for some machinations in 2020 elections.
According to him, at this point that the party has the majority in parliament. They will do business of the people of Ghana.
He said the country has gone through some difficult times, and oftentimes, Parliament is blamed for not standing up for the people of Ghana.
“Obviously, you can’t blame the NDC because we were not having the working majority. Today, we have the working majority, and we will begin the process to reset the country,” he said.
He added that “We want to use this opportunity to assure the people of Ghana that the NDC majority will stand for them Amy day any time.”
Ato Forson added that “We will begin the process to move to the majority side and elect a new Second Deputy Speaker on Tuesday.”
