Ekow Blankson passes on
Ekow Blankson
Veteran Ghanaian actor, Ekow Blankson has passed on at age 50 after a short illness.
The award winning actor died on Monday morning at a hospital in Tema in the Greater Accra Region.
Before his untimely demise, Ekow Blankson who has had stints with Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Waterhealth, Groupe ideal, Media General, Multimedia and TV Africa, was the Commercial Manager of Ghanaweb.
He left behind a wife Justina Naadu Blankson and children
Ekow Blankson has starred in a number of movies such as Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party and Famous.
He holds a Masters’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Mr Blankson graduated from the Heineken Global Commerce University, Amsterdam, with a marketing certificate.
