CPCL refreshes school children

• School children eating chocolate
As part of efforts by the Cocoa Processing Company Limited (CPCL) to encourage the consumption of locally manufactured cocoa products in children, hundreds of basic school pupils from the Mante Din School in the Tema Metropolis have been refreshed with All Time Instant Drinking Chocolate.
The product, according to the Director of Marketing of the Company, Nana Agyemang Ansong, was rich in cocoa, milk and sugar with a high nutritional value for the cognitive development of the children.
He said the occasion was to commemorate the “world chocolate day” as the country was a key member country to cocoa production and also able to transform the raw cocoa beans into various Golden Tree Chocolate products for consumption.
He encouraged the public to patronise their products because they (products) were beneficial to health and well-being and also affordable.
The school children were educated on the health benefits of cocoa and the need to patronise it.
