West Africa Elders Forum meets National Elections Security Taskforce

A delegation from the West African Elders Forum (WAEF), led by former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, October 8, called on the National Elections Security Taskforce (NESTF).
The visit which took place at the National Police Headquarters in Accra, forms part of their pre-election stakeholder engagements.
Chairman of NESTF, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, briefed the delegation on the preparations and strategies in place to ensure peaceful elections on December 7, 2024.
H.E. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, in his address, applauded the Taskforce for its dedication to protecting Ghana’s democratic reputation, both within West Africa and across the continent.
