Fifty-two students graduated from Stemapet Cake and Floral Institute at the National Theatre over the weekend in Accra.
Stemapet is a private culinary training institute accredited under the Ghana Education Service and National Vocational Training Institute, training citizens to be responsible and entrepreneurial.
The 15th graduation ceremony was themed ‘It is possible, stay focused.’
Graduates were trained in artistic cake dressing, cake baking, icing, fashion designing, pastry making, floral and balloon decoration.
Ms Justina Aubin was adjudged the overall best student.
The chairman for the occasion, Mr Issaka Munkaila Nyarko, advised products of the school to distinguish themselves in their work, from others.
“Be truthful to your customers. Do not take a customer’s money if you are aware you can’t deliver on time. Go out there and make a positive impact,” the Managing Director of Zara Kitchen stated.
The headmistress of the institute, Mrs. Juliet Mina Kersi, urged the graduands to showcase to the world what they have learnt over the years and make the best out of every situation.
An exhibition was held in the foyer of the venue, where products made by the graduates were displayed for their parents and guests
