Resetting Ghana: President Mahama to deliver first SONA in second term
President John Dramani Mahama will today, Thursday, February 27, 2025, deliver his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) since assuming office for a second term.
The President has promised a “Resetting Ghana” agenda, aimed at reviving the economy, creating jobs, and restoring stability.
It is highly expected that he tells Ghanaians the state of the economy he inherited, and measures put in place to address the challenges.
Additionally, he would account to the country on some significant reforms, policy initiatives and directions initiated since he took over.
Against this backdrop, Ghanaians would love to hear some bold statements and action on some manifesto promises like 24-hour economy, tax cuts, agric mechanization and galamsey among others.
The President is expected to be in at 10am this morning.
