 Regional Council of State member calls on Chief Imam, Gborbu Wulomo

 The Greater Accra Regional Mem­ber of the Council of State, Dro­mor Bosso Adamtey Awah V, has paid a courtesy call on two prominent religious leaders in the country to offi­cially introduce himself to them.

The two are the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu and the Gborbu Wulomo, Shitse Numoo Borketey Laweh of the Nungua Tradi­tional Area.

He was accompanied by a retinue of chiefs and traditional authorities from the Shai State.

Dromor Awah, who is also the Par­amount chief of the Shia State used the occasion to solicit prayers and wise counselling from the religious leaders for peaceful tenure and at the same time assured of constant­ly seeking their advice on matters affecting the region, especially the chieftaincy issues that have created numerous problems in the area.

The Gborbu Wulomo Numo Laweh assured of his commitment to part­nering the Council of State to unite the people for the total development of the region.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Sharubutu who offered special prayers for the Council of State mem­ber, the President and the citizenry commended the peaceful co-exist­ence of all religious groups in the country.
