Praise Bonney to host Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Pastor Isaiah Kwakye at CAD Experience

Gospel minister Praise Bonney is set to host the fifth edition of the Closer & Deeper (CAD) Experience at the House of Faith Ministries on September 28 in Kumasi.
The event, themed Glory Overflow’, will take patrons to the throne room of grace and uplift the name of God.
Praise Bonney told The Spectator that this year’s edition features a powerful line-up of gospel ministers, headlined by the legendary Daughters of Glorious Jesus, whose timeless songs continue to inspire worshippers nationwide.
Joining them would be Efe Grace, Ps. Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye Jnr, Ps. Seth Justin Acquah, and Rev. Mrs Ivy Nsiah-Afriyie, each bringing their unique anointing and musical depth to the stage.
“The event is free to attend but attendees are encouraged to arrive early and come with open hearts as event is expected to draw souls to God through music,” he explained.
Since its inception in 2020, CAD Experience has grown into a vibrant movement of worship, prayer, and youth-led ministry, drawing believers, and gospel lovers from across Ghana.

All set for Fiifi Coleman Productions’ ‘I Told You So’

THEATRE lovers are in for a memorable experience from March 5–8 at the National Theatre, as Fiifi Coleman Productions stages the classic play ‘I Told You So’.
The production is a theatrical adaptation of the original 1970 film, directed by Egbert Adjesu, and aims to bring its iconic moments to life for both old and new audiences.
Speaking to The Spectator, Fiifi Coleman said the adaptation is a way to celebrate and honor pioneers of the Ghanaian movie industry.
“Ghana will be 70 years next year. We wanted to journey back in time and create positive memories while paying tribute to those who laid the foundation for today’s industry,” he said.
Coleman also revealed plans for a remake of ‘I Told You So’, blending veteran performers with new faces to give the production a trans-generational appeal. He encouraged movie producers to focus on timeless themes that resonate across generations.
The production boasts a stellar lineup of Ghanaian talents, including legendary musician Gyedu Blay-Ambolley, actors Fred Amugi, Clemento Suarez, Mr Beautiful, Ken Fiati, Wofa Kay, and content creator Deaconess Abokuma, among others.
This adaptation promises to revive nostalgia, celebrate Ghanaian film heritage, and captivate audiences with both humor and drama.

Love Night: Kwabena Kwabena rocks lovers at Palms Convention Centre

GHANAIAN music dynamo Kwabena Kwabena is set to serenade fans today, February 14, at the Vitamilk Love Night at Palms Convention Centre.
This year’s edition, themed ‘Aso@20’, marks 20 years since the release of his debut album, which launched him into stardom and established his signature silky voice in the Ghanaian music scene.
