Miss Ghana 2026 Rumzia Sule celebrates top 6 Africa recognition for BEWAP Project

Miss Ghana 2026, Rumzia Sule, has expressed joy after being recognised among Africa’s Top 6 Beauty With A Purpose (BEWAP) projects at Miss World.

Sharing her excitement, Rumzia said the honour means a lot to her.

According to her, through her project, The Green Gateway, she has sought to inspire environmental responsibility by organising clean-up exercises, tree planting and encouraging young people to understand that protecting the environment is not only the responsibility of governments or organisations, but a shared responsibility that begins with everyday choices.

She described The Green Gateway as a long-term project which she hopes to expand across Africa and the world.

“I am deeply grateful to Miss World for recognising the vision behind this project and for providing a platform where purpose and meaningful impact are celebrated,” she noted.

Rumzia also extended appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer, Inna Patty, and the entire team at Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of Miss Ghana and franchise holders of Miss World Ghana, for believing in her and giving her the opportunity to bring The Green Gateway to the global stage.

“This recognition is a beautiful reminder that when purpose is given a platform, it can inspire change far beyond where it begins,” she added.

This Beauty With a Purpose initiative offers encouragement, hope and new opportunities to people in local communities.

In all beauty queens from 111 countries have converged in Vietnam for the ultimate crown of Miss World Ghana.
