The Men’s Ministry of the Legon Seventh Day Adventist Church last Sunday marked the Women’s Day celebration by cooking varieties of dishes for their female counterparts.
The men, led by Elder Emmanuel Bronya prepared dishes including Jollof rice, Omo Tuo, Banku and hot pepper, Ground nut soup, Palm nut soup, Tuo Zaafi and Ayoyo soup, Fufu and light soup Abunuabunu spiced with Corn wine and Sobolo.
Elder Bronya stated that the day was not only for women of the church but all women and their daughters around the globe.
He urged men to be responsible and take good care of their wives and children.
The Pastor in charge of the church, Samuel Adama Larmie said the role of a mother was crucial in the life of every individual hence the need to accord women that respect.
The Leader of the Women’s Fellowship, Mrs Lynda Konama Amoansah commended the men for the effort and appealed to the youth to be serious with their academics.
