Kwabena Mintah Akandoh Elected Board Chairman of Western Regional Coordination Center for Africa CDC
Ghana’s Minister for Health and MP for Juabuso Constituency, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has been elected the Chairman for the Steering Committee which serves as the Board of Western Regional Coordination Center for Africa CDC.
Mr.Akandoh as Chairman is required to lead the Health Ministers within West Africa Member States and Partners to provide strategic guidance, oversight and support to Western RCC Secretariat on public health initiatives and setting regional priorities.
He will also support the Western RCC Secretariat in resource mobilization and advocacy towards strengthening regional health security.
Kwabena Mintah Akandoh will convene all Board meetings and direct all meeting proceedings for effective decision making.
