I’m no longer with D-Black’s Black Avenue music -Sefa

Ghanaian musician, Sefadzi Abena Amesu known in music circles as Sefa has shockingly revealed her exit from D-Black’s Black Avenue.
Sefa has plied her trade as an artiste from the camp of Black Avenue music for the past seven years.
This notwithstanding Sefa has disclosed to Nana Romeo of Accra FM in an interview that she is no longer with Black Avenue Music label.
Speaking in an interview she said, her recent song with Freddy Meiway dubbed ‘Vibration’ was an amazing record, unfortunately, the song did not achieve its potential due to some challenges with her previous label.
She revealed, “I’m no longer with Black Avenue, but I decided not to talk about it.”
According to Sefa she left the label after her contract with them ended.
“We were not able to renew it due to some misunderstanding in the business among others.
My new song released two days ago is the beginning of a new journey for me,” she disclosed.
She further stressed that there were a lot of things which were not resolved. “It’s a lot of things, you know I’m an understanding person, I’m a loyal person so if it gets to a point and I feel that I have been hurt or betrayed to a point I will leave.”
Sefa noted that instead of sticking around with hatred, she would rather move on
even though it is not anything which cannot be resolved.
She made hits like Fever, Enjoyment, Wanti Wanti, Odo Yewu and Echoke among others during her time with Black Avenue Music.
