Reigning Gospel Artiste of the Year at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Piesie Esther has finally reacted to her viral video.

Performing recently at the 40th-anniversary Executive Launch of the musical duo, Tagoe Sisters, the ‘W’aye Me Yie’ singer moved  closer to Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and sang a rendition of the song which changed the ‘God of Enoch’ part to‘God of NPP.’

This rendition did not go down well with Ghanaians as they hit back at the musician on social media.

However, in an interview to break her silence on the matter, she told Adom FM’s OPK that after the issue she has heard a lot of reactions, both positive and negative.

She said, “To err is human, humans are bound to make mistakes and learn from them.”

“I have heard a lot, I have come to learn that you are likely to make mistakes in life at some point and learn from the feedback,” she added.

Sharing her experience, Piesie Esther said “If people criticise me, I listen and learn from where I fall short and move on in life.”

According to the songstress, since the release of “W’Ay3 Me Yie”, “any time I go to minister the song, I try to go close to renowned people at the event to sing to them, and in most cases use their names. I have learnt that I shouldn’t have done that.”
