House of Consecration Ministry launches 15th anniversary 

The House of Consecration Ministry (HCM) has officially launched its 15th anniversary celebration, marking a major milestone in its journey of ministry and service.

The anniversary launch, held on September 16, coincided with the unveiling of its newly completed church building at Adenta.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister for Defence, Gilbert Kenneth Adjei who has been a member of the church since its inception, reflected on the pillars that sustain a nation, security, unity and resilience, noting that true security does not rely on physical armour alone.

He expressed deep appreciation to Rev. Kingsley Agyemang for shepherding the church from its humble beginnings, recalling how the ministry started from a classroom at Madina.

The Minister said though he was already a Christian before HCM came into being, the ministry helped him to know God better, adding that the teachings and values he has learnt in the church have guided his life and work.

“When I look back, all I can say is the church has been a blessing to many,” he said, inviting the public to join the anniversary celebration.

Speaking on behalf of the church, Rev. Kingsley Agyemang expressed gratitude to God for the 15-year journey, acknowledging that there were difficult moments. He revealed that at one point, his family lost their six-bedroom duplex to a fire outbreak.

He said one of the things that has kept them going was knowing what to do at every stage of their lives, including denying themselves certain comforts for the sake of the Kingdom.

“A lot of what you see came from our own coffers. We personally made significant sacrifices to build this church,” he disclosed.

Rev. Agyemang also advised young ministers to maintain a consistent relationship with God, remain steadfast, and embrace consecration, discernment in associations and networking, and patience, rather than being consumed by pressures of lifestyle.

The climax of the 15th anniversary celebration is scheduled for October 21-25 on the theme “Revealing Jesus.” 

In attendance would be Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Pastor Mensa Otabil, and Bishop Frank Ofosu Appiah.

The launch brought together ministers of the gospel, church members, public officials, family and well-wishers to celebrate both the ministry’s growth and the completion of its new place of worship.
