Accra Hearts of Oak will hope to bounce back this weekend when they face Nsoatreman at the Accra Sports Stadium in a top Ghana Premier League (GPL) match day two encounter.

The Phobians suffered a shock 1-0 defeat in the hands of RTU, the third in a row after recording a double over them last season.

The season opener was seen as an avenue for the Phobians to break that new form of the northerners but a late Owusu Afriyie header brought them back to Accra empty handed.

That left their followers disappointed, having enjoyed a free-scoring pre-season with the new coach, Martin Cooper, appearing to have addressed the challenges they faced last season.

Nsoatreman started the season on a flying note, defeating Bechem United 2-0 at home and that has affected confidence in camp, waiting to prove to all that the week one feat was no fluke.

It promises to be a thrilling games as both sides approach the game with diverse ambitions although Hearts look like favourites.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko, after their goalless encounter in Kumasi against Heart of Lions would travel to Bibiani to face the might of Goldstars.

Goldstars lost 0-2 to Berekum Chelsea in their opening game and would chase their first win of the season but coming against Kotoko, it would be a different ball game.

Wonder Club Accra Great Olympics would be in a battle of their lives when they come against an impressive Heart of Lions side that went so close to causing an upset against the Porcupine Warriors.

Olympics lacked courage and the cutting edge to grind out a win in their game against Bofoakwa in Accra, leaving their fans disappointed.

May be, their wondrous accolade could spark something to at least earn them a point in the match, otherwise the Lions look poised to roar with all three points.

Medeama is expected to lock horns with Aduana Stars in a tough fixture at the Dormaa Park, while Dreams FC play as guests of Bechem United at the Bechem grounds.

Karela FC will face Berekum Chelsea in a match that promises to be full of excitement just as the Accra derby that pits Accra Lions against Legon Cities.

In Kumasi, Nations FC will have a home clash against FC Samartex
