 Frimpomaa unveils spirit-filled ‘Forever King’ album

Gospel sensation Jocelyn Darko, known in showbiz circles as Frimpomaa officially unveiled her debut album dubbed ‘Forever King’, at a special event at the Air­port View Hotel in Accra on Wednes­day, July 2.

The milestone celebration brought together media, musicians, and other key stakeholders from Ghana’s gospel music fraternity.

The unveiling highlighted some spirit-filled singles from the album, including: Jeho­vah, Heaven’s Dew, Lord Be Praised, Story of Life, God of the Mountains, Forever King, Medawase, Sing to the Lord, and the Greater Anwanwa Do Medley.

Speaking to The Spectator, she said it is a body of work that points believers to the sovereignty of God.

Frimpomaa said, “It’s a testament that God reigns forever,” adding that those who trust in Him are secure.

On the challenges of suffering between Gha­na and the UK, she not­ed that measures have been put in place to spend more time in Ghana to follow through with promotion.

She revealed that the album is every experience of her life, fusing what she has encountered in Ghana and in the UK.

Frimpomaa urged every music lover to stream the song on all plat­forms.

Over the past five years, Frimpo­maa has steadily gained recognition as an independent gospel artiste consistently releasing quality songs.

This has expanded her fan base, and her debut album has generated significant industry buzz.

Legendary gospel musi­cians like Diana Hopeson, Cindy Thompson, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, and sing­ing Prophet, Joseph Atar­ah, were in attendance to support Frimpomaa.
