Budding Ghanaian gospel sensation, Ebel Mettle stormed his alma mater, Akro Senior High Technical School at Odumasi in the Eastern Region to entertain students with some great musical performances as part of his school tour series.

The event which attracted a huge audience including students, staff and other performers saw Mettle perform his very popular ‘Qodesh,’ ‘Blessing ‘and other songs which kept the crowd on their feet throughout the show.

The tour began at the North Legon Youth Fire Explosion before moving to the Eastern Region for what he described as a ‘mega showdown.’

The talented songwriter and singer, real name Ebenezer Mettle Lanyo told The Spectator that, the reason for touring schools across the country was to share his experience with the younger ones.

“I have been through a lot as a child but managed to go through and currently doing well for myself,” he said.

The 21-year-old said his ministry would be used to ‘strengthen’ people and give them reasons to move beyond their challenges.

Most importantly, he said it would let them realise that ‘suicide is not an option’ as one must not take their lives due to challenges of life.

He said, he would soon release a 10-track album which would take the gospel industry by storm with inspiring and powerful songs.

The Accra Technical University (ATU) student said, he was working towards contributing to the gospel music industry in Ghana and the world at large.

Ultimately, he said, it was important for gospel artistes to collaborate and win more souls for Christ especially in the midst of the current economic challenges which was making people lose hope in life.
